If anyone needs a weekend to play something a bit different,  Guild Wars is offering one of their Free Weekend events to the whole world to check out their new chapter - NightFall.

so i don't really want to play another game...  and i don't have the desire to read all their documentation about the new features to the game.  unless they have something really cool like horses... or maybe pvp that doesn't work like a match... the randomness of pvp integrated within the questing world is just too much fun to give up.

Yeah, as much promise as Guildwars originally showed, it's turned out to fail completely in that it doesn't have the phat lewtz that made DII so replayable, and it has nothing remotely approaching the scope and dynamicism of EQ2.
