Elvis and I went at it for our tournament match last night.  I gotta say it was pretty fun.  He won the first round, I won the next, and the next, then he won one, then I won the final match.  Man I didn't expect it to be so close.  See thats why I like playing with Elvis . . . he always has some tricks up his sleeve.  Snake logged on later and played me for a few matches in Darkstalkers, but he was too late to join the tourny . . . he'll have to catch us next time.  He beat me a few times too.  I'm telling you man that game is very balanced because I knew most of my special moves and Elvis figured out the counter measures within seconds...

Next it is me versus Monkey . . .  I'm ready when you are buddy

So it's come to this.  Man versus man.  X-Arcade vs. Gravis Gamepad.  Cablemodem vs. ISDN-over-wireless.

Alright -- if you dont mind a few dropped connections and lag spikes, we'll do this!!!   (Incidentally I'm running CAT5 downstairs sometime over the next day or two so that my gaming box can get off the bloody wireless.  If the game turns out to be unplayable, I will have that fixed soon.)

wow Monkey . . .

that was really a lot of fun playing DarkStalkers.  The lag was not that bad at all for your wireless ISDN :-)

Actually I am ready for more.  The fight versus Monkey went about the same as the one with Elvis.  You guys are tough opponents.  Lord Raptor just take me all out of my game with his herky jerky motions . . . I can't ever tell what is going on.  Well thats a wrap then . . . thanks for playing

Word... It was fun, but I probably should have played a couple rounds versus the computer first.  My rockstar looks and spinning blades were no match for your lycanthropic acrobatics.

yeah, congrats 18Wpns.  Maybe I'll figure out how the special system works and we can go at it again...  Besides, I'm a little miffed because I didn't get any air-throws...

thanks buddy.  it was a good change of pace.  too much CS makes me cranky.  I think now that the tournament code has been tested we might have some tournaments more often...
