LOL.  Just to create another debate that has died, how is the Wii doing besides its retarded online gaming debacle?

Seems to just be dominating Xbox360 and PS3 in the general market these days, at least in the media category.  Fan boys seem to be getting their MS and Sony products, but everyone I talk to wants a Wii if they don't already have one.  Heck, even my parents ordered one so the grandkids could play it when they come over.

yeah the Wii is one hot item.  it is probably the best concept system since the atari.  most systems since atari have been about catching up to other technologies and adding them onto games to make games on your home console as sharp as other forms of entertainment.  first they caught up to arcade games, then they surpassed them... then they needed movie quality graphics and sound.  also consoles needed to be able to do everything your dvd player and computer could do.  at the point of the Wii a good decision was finally made to have the device be less diverse in media capability and try out a new proprietary gaming interface.  this is basically what gaming should be all about.  the interfaces that popped up at arcades in the classic era ranged from helicopter chassis to hologram... but it seemed like consoles were doomed to only emulate superior interfaces until the Wii

hahaha.  luckily, we re-did the kitchen when we remodeled the house last year, so I'm good to go there in this house.  The next big project we have on the horizon is for landscaping and finishing off a laundry room.

Next time you're in NC, you need to come over.  Don't be a stranger.
