so the rare for adept 3 damage spells from 10-19 is a Silver Cluster.  So I decided to go out and harvest for some and within an hour I found 2!  They must have increased the rare chance when harvesting because I found 5 rares while harvesting.  now I'm a level 16 scholar so I will be leveling up to 19 so I can make some adept 3 spells with those silver.

Thats awesome...  I need to work on my harvesting, but I have trouble getting stoked about it when I've got Rikki able to harvest up to T6 with all the speed-up tools.  I might just use him to get stuff and mail it all to my bruiser.  I took Upper to the Arasai starting zone outside of Neriak and did a bunch of the level 17-20 quests there, got him to mid-way through level 21 and a couple more AA.  He's in BB now starting the T3 stuff there.  I really need to get him some skill upgrades though. 

Having done the same level quests in The EoF zone that I just completed in Timorous Deep, I can say for certain that the TD quest rewards are probably twice as good on average than those from last years expansions.  It's shocking, really.  Not only that, but the mobs in the older zones are considerably tougher to beat.  They really made the Kunark stuff dirt easy.  Is this what WoW is like?  I'm feeling like I've eaten too many sweets.

haha yeah it really is a breeze on kunark...  it kinda reminded me of running through guild wars because the quests were so closely packed... except the rewards were so much better.  this is why i'm glad i started a whole new account so i am not tempted to log in my alts and twinking.  i'm planning on keeping my crafting as up to date as my level so i can have those upgraded spells.  Money has not been a problem this far...  the only thing i would spend it on is gear and all the quest rewards have been more than enough...  what are we gonna do when the quests don't give us these awesome rewards?

Gonna have to go MC gear I guess.  There's no way quest gear will touch what you get in the first 20 levels in TD.  Heck, I can see some of this level 17 gear being better than most mid-20s quest stuff.

hmm that stuff is expensive... we'll have to do some dungeon runs and see if we can find a drop or two...

One other note on harvesting - dont forget to buy and carry around the appropriate level MC harvesting tools for your Tier, they really cut down harvesting time (The T7 gear I use now trims off like 2.5 seconds per harvest).
