I'm sort of looking forward to COD3 because i always like an epic shooter but more looking forward to Medal of Honor Airborne to see if the non event driven gameplay will finally make a change in the genre.

I haven't really had any interest in this title at all..

I have a feeling this release won't be very successful. It's too close on the heels of BF2.  BF2 could still see a lot of success, but introducing a new re-make of the same game is only going to confuse the market.  In fact, I just saw in the paper yesterday - BF2 is $39.99.  This new 2142 game is $49.99.

Cannabilism ftw.

my problem with the whole battlefield thing... all of them are decent games, but i wish the setting would stay the same for a few so they could work out some of the annoying kinks with the gameplay rather than go into the future... which is imo the lamest setting so far...

yeah, I for one really loved the WWII setting, and I really like the modern stuff too, but the 2142 thing is just retarted.  Knifes/Swords > Guns > Laser Weapons > BFG Crap.
